The "La Vite" Bed and Breakfast in Pienza, in the province of Siena, is the perfect place to spend a pleasant moment, both for the hospitality and care we offer our guests and for its location just steps from the historic center, commissioned by Pope Pius II in 1459, with its famous Piazza, the "Domus Vitrea," Palazzo Borgia, Palazzo Piccolomini, and the Town Hall -true works of art. From here, a short walk takes you directly to the Casello, the "Balcony of the Val d'Orcia," which offers breathtaking views of the Val d'Orcia Natural and Cultural Park, which, like Pienza, is a World Heritage Site.
The building of the La Vite Bed and Breakfast in Pienza dates back to the 15th century and was renovated to its current "Renaissance" appearance in 1575 by Iacomo Simonei. Today, it is equipped with modern comforts, while respecting the legacy of the past.
B&B La Vite occupies an entire building with shared living areas and free WiFi throughout. Parking is nearby, and bars, shops, and our Al Fierale restaurant, "Toscana Grill," serving Tuscan cuisine, are just steps away.
The four comfortable rooms at the La Vite Bed and Breakfast in Pienza are spread across two floors, separated from each other for optimal privacy. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, independent heating, TV, minibar, table/desk, and WiFi. They are furnished with traditional Tuscan craftsmanship and retain their exposed beams.
Inspired by the centuries-old vine that extends from the ancient cellar and rises to shade the B&B's terrace, the rooms are named after the area's prized wines, and the suite is named after the mythological deity of wine and the grape harvest: Brunello, Chianti, Orcia, Bacco, and Arianna Suite.
